Q: Are all Kronic Wood Products Handmade?
A: Some. Handmade products are one-of-a-kind unique creations, and they are listed separately on the site. All handmade items will be listed in their own pages under: Handmade by Maker. Kronic Wood products fall under the label: hand-finished. These products are machine cut, and final finished by hand.
Q: Where are Kronic Wood products made?
A: The materials for our products come from all over the world. The best wood for smoking devices comes from Italy, and Greece. While the best mouthpiece materials are brought in from Germany. As with all of our products, final assembly and finish is done right here in Nashville, TN.
Q: What is the benefit to smoking out of wood?
A: Briar has been used to make pipes for generations. It is a very dense, hard-to-burn wood. Making it ideal as a choice for a premium wooden pipe. A natural charcoal coating is applied to prevent moisture and flavor from absorbing into the pipe. Briar offers a noticably smooth smoking experience, similar to a well made piece of glass.
